Tennis Subs Update ... Mikel Bowman
and Jennifer Shepherd’s
LynmarTennisSubs.com has been very
successful. Since the system went live
at the end of August, 115 members are
registered, the system has successfully
filled 58 requests, and there are about
30 visits to the site daily. By
registering, you increase the pool of
tennis subs and give yourself an
opportunity to play more.
Cardio Tennis !
Music! Fitness! Tennis Drills!
Cardio Tennis
will change to 11a-12n on Fridays,
beginning September 5. Until
then, it's still on Thursdays from 9:30-10:30 am on outside court
1. Sign up at the front desk for $12
(4-6 people) or $10 (7-8 people).
The program is high energy and
helps the fit person play tennis and the
tennis person get fit. Don’t forget to
bring sunscreen!
Super Drills ...
are a great
workout without needing a playing
partner. You'll drill with a pro and hit
a lot of balls, and sessions have been
expanded to multiple weekdays. [

Saturday
Tennis Mixers ... offer more tennis
from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, on selected
Saturdays. Check the
main
calendar listing for scheduled
monthly dates, then sign up at the front
desk to meet people, play tennis and
have fun for only $5.00 per person.
Don’t forget about the 24-hour
cancellation policy.
AM
League Subbing
... try to limit the number of make
up matches, by playing at your scheduled
time or by getting a substitute. If you
need a sub for a Permanent Court Time or
League, check out
LynmarTennisSubs.com, an
online system created by member Mikel
Bowman. Flyers with information on how
to register can be found at the
information center near the front desk
or by the Tennis Bulletin Board
downstairs. As more people register, the
system will simplify finding a sub with
a few keyboard strokes instead of making
numerous phone calls. For those who do
not use the computer daily, an updated
hard copy list of subs can be found in
the holders on the wall by the Tennis
Bulletin Board.
PCT (Permanent Court Time)
Permanent Court Time allows members to reserve a court, or courts, at the prevailing court rate for a specific number of weeks.
