LYNMAR NEWS: APRIL 2008

FROM THE MANAGEMENT

As you know, we had a lot of exciting activity in March. First, the roof is nearly finished. We are still experiencing some minor leaks but that will be fixed shortly. The good thing is that we are finished with the smell of tar and with the inconvenience of the tar machine in the back. I want to thank everyone for being so understanding through this process. Your patience was greatly appreciated.

Second, we had our annual Calcutta tennis tournament which was a wonderful success. Unfortunately, I had the flu and was unable to play. Everyone who played had a great time and we were very happy with the results. I want to thank Jeanette for all of her hard work in putting this fantastic event together; as usual, she did a top-notch, professional job.

I would also like to thank Vicky Mediate, our new Tennis Coordinator, for all of her hard work, including recruiting players and generally helping Jeanette.

Let us keep the enthusiasm going into April. Spring is a wonderful time for racquet sports and Lynmar is the place to play.
